One of our most renowned designers opens the bowels of his creative process to ironically dismantle the clichés about design. Our 2021 National Design Award lives in a happy paradox: despite his anti-academic vision, he has become one of the most renowned Spanish industrial designers and artists in the world. During his visit to Espacio Iberia, Jaime Hayon will open the bowels of his creative process to prove that designing is much more than design. To do this, it will explore everything that happens before an object exists. Stories, obsessions, culture, humor, identity, intuition, excess, error and even bad taste are part of a creative territory that for him is as important as the act of designing itself. A creative workshop that serves as an invitation to activate what Hayon calls “the third eye”: a way to look beyond the obvious, question what is established and find your own voice.
